Free LIVE MUSIC, 6:00 - 8:00PM at the Coronation Pavilion.
The central idea behind the band LifeinPursuit is that of a constant motion, a fervent endeavor of life, love, God, and the unknown. That is the focal point of the three-piece group hailing from the Hamakua Coast on The Big Island of Hawaii. LIP’s music is best described as laid-back, rhythm-based acoustic rock with tinges of hip-hop, reggae, blues & pop. LIP plays mostly originals, with lyrics ranging from complex and deep-thinking to simple and playful.

Once a month, you’re invited to bring a beach chair or blanket for a free outdoor movie at dusk at the Coronation Pavilion.
Join us Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. for a chance to see two award-winning made-in-Hawai’i movies, at our free movie night.
Filmed on Oahu, “Under the Blood Red Sun” tells the story of two boys—one Japanese, one Caucasian—in the turbulent times after Pearl Harbor was attacked. Based on acclaimed youth novel by Graham Salisbury, with outstanding young actors. Preceded by “The Fishing Club,” a short film about friends who plot to stop resort construction. Starring KITV sports anchor Robert Kekaula and Hawaiian musical artist Keali’i Reichel.
